Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) is an evidence-based training program designed to teach high school students (ages 14-18) how to support a friend or peer facing a mental health challenge or crisis. Just like CPR helps someone assist a person having a medical emergency, tMHFA provides the tools to recognize the warning signs of mental health and substance use challenges and take action to get help from a trusted adult.
