Vanessa Fales

Administrative Assistant

Not Just “The Face” of Cape Assist

Vanessa currently works as an Administrative Assistant with the organization, operating as their receptionist. As a result, she is often the one answering calls, responding to emails, and generally keeping the organization functioning day to day, all from the front desk. Vanessa is the one with the answers, and if she doesn’t have exactly what you’re looking for, she’ll work to get the information you need.

She often coordinates the big schedules of Cape Assist’s many members, making sure that meetings are in order, i's are dotted, and t’s are crossed. With her help, the organization can communicate effectively with Cape May and beyond as well as keep their programs running smoothly.

In truth, Vanessa’s strong dedication to organization and passion for helping means she has a hand in every part of Cape Assist’s function.

Background and Education

Vanessa has her associates in Liberal Arts and Psychology from Atlantic Cape Community College. But she’s not stopping there, as she is pursuing a master's in Clinical & Forensic Psychology with sights set on a doctorate in the future.

Vanessa has seen firsthand the impact that substance abuse can have on families which drives her to help others tirelessly. She can certainly keep the pace, as a U.S. Marine with over 4 years of service, she is no stranger to hard work. After becoming a Marine, she was stationed at the Pentagon as the Intelligence Agency’s Administrative Clerk from 2011 to 2016 at the age of just 18. Her experience in the military provided her with the opportunity to excel in multiple other fields.
