Why She Speaks Power! Matters

In the Greater Wildwoods, a vibrant yet vulnerable community, many young Hispanic/Latinx girls face challenges such as economic hardship, limited transportation, and exposure to substance misuse due to the prevalent tourism culture. These conditions can heighten risks for mental health struggles and hinder positive development. "She Speaks Power!" aims to address these challenges directly through mentorship, education, and community engagement.

Who Can Participate?

"She Speaks Power!" prioritizes Hispanic/Latinx girls aged 10-18 living in North Wildwood, West Wildwood, the City of Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest.

She Speaks Power! Goals

Our goal is simple yet transformative: to empower each participant to recognize her own potential, make positive life choices, and foster resilience against mental health and substance use challenges.
