IMPACT 6 PROGRAM
IMPACT 6 is a one-day, 6-hour juvenile diversion program designed for first-time, non-violent youth offenders aged 11-17. This early intervention initiative aims to equip participants with the skills needed to make healthier, more responsible choices in the future. The program addresses offenses such as shoplifting, vandalism, theft, fighting, possession of marijuana, and underage alcohol use, offering a constructive alternative to traditional consequences.
Using the evidence-based curriculum from Botvin’s Life Skills, IMPACT 6 focuses on key areas such as decision-making, conflict resolution, communication, stress management, and building a positive self-image. Participants also explore the risks and consequences of underage drinking, tobacco use, and substance misuse in a supportive, educational environment.
