Join Cape Assist and our community partners for the Woodbine Back-to-School event. Youth can receive a free haircut or hairstyle while families enjoy a variety of activities and resources throughout the day.

Activities include:

• Water Slides

• Bounce House

• Laser Tag (2:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

• Family Activities

• Community Resources

• Giveaways

• Complimentary Ice Cream provided by Woodbine Custard Ranch

Registration is required. Hair services are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will be assigned to a barber or stylist based on availability.

Hair Service Options

Barber Services

• Haircuts (30-45 minutes)

• Shape-Ups (15-30 minutes)

Stylist Services

• Trims (30-45 minutes)

• Braids (approximately 1 hour)

• Straightening (30-45 minutes)

Hair Preparation Requirements

To ensure that as many youth as possible can be served, all participants receiving a haircut or hairstyle must arrive with hair prepared according to the requirements below:

• Wash hair twice the night before

• Condition hair

• Fully dry hair (air-dried or blow-dried)

• Completely comb out hair

If your family does not have access to washing or drying resources, assistance is available. Please indicate this on the registration form.
