ABOUT THE EVENT

Strengthening Families Program (SFP) Virtual Series


Join Cape Assist for the Strengthening Families Program (SFP), a free evidence-based family skills training program recognized nationally and internationally. This interactive virtual program is designed for families with children ages 6-11 and focuses on strengthening family bonds through positive parenting, effective communication, decision-making, and healthy discipline strategies.


Program Details

Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 28 through September 10, 2026


Time: 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM


Location: Virtual via Zoom


Eligibility Requirements

Participants must:

  • Live or work in Cape May County

  • Have at least one child between the ages of 6 and 11

  • Have reliable internet access with a working camera and audio for Zoom

  • Be able to attend at least 10 of the 14 sessions


What Families Will Learn

Through engaging activities and discussions, families will develop:

  • Positive parenting skills

  • Effective family communication

  • Decision-making strategies

  • Healthy discipline techniques

  • Tools to strengthen family relationships and improve overall family dynamics

Registration is free but required. Space may be limited.
