Phew, I Wasn’t Sure I Was Going to Make It!

It is no secret COVID-19 took its toll, bringing many through an emotional roller coaster. Educators, first respondents, and professionals in all helping fields found themselves feeling compassion fatigue from hearing challenge after challenge while at the same time facing their own uncertainties and hardships caused by the pandemic.
In this workshop, we will learn how to address vicarious trauma and plan for our own mental well-being to reduce burnout and continue this essential work. We will focus on personal development and leadership and how to leverage that to positively impact others. Together we will grow, laugh, and heal so we can get back to our work of helping others!
Underage Marijuana Use Prevention in the Climate of Legalization

Now that recreational cannabis is legal in New Jersey, we will explore how prevention efforts and, more importantly, the conversations we have with youth need to be adapted to engage the younger generation.
