ABOUT THE EVENT
Cape Assist invites community members, parents, educators, youth-serving professionals, and concerned residents to attend a free educational panel discussion focused on the current drug trends affecting Cape May County.
During this presentation, local professionals from prevention, healthcare, recovery support, law enforcement, and forensic science will share up-to-date information about emerging substances in our area, including what is being seen locally, how these substances are impacting our community, and what warning signs families and caregivers should be aware of.
Participants will learn:
Current and emerging substances appearing in Cape May County
Local overdose and safety concerns
Signs and symptoms of substance use
Prevention and early-intervention strategies
Resources available for individuals and families
How community members can play a role in prevention
