Mental Health First Aid for Adults instructs on identifying and assisting adults (18+) with mental health or substance use issues, covering anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions. It includes offering initial help and guiding individuals to suitable care.

About the Event
Adult Mental Health First Aid training is FREE and available to anyone who lives, volunteers, or works in Cape May County. Registration for the training is required in addition to the 2 hours of online pre-work ahead of time.

Participants MUST register at least 2 weeks in advance for the selected training date - this will allow enough time to fully register participants and complete the 2 hours of online pre-work.
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, psychosis, and addictions.
